Job Description:
We are hiring for 2 full-time positions.
As a Print Shop Associate, you’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple types of printing and decoration methods. Depending on team needs and your individual training, you may operate direct-to-film (DTF) and direct-to-garment (DTG) machines, assist with embroidery setups, or perform UV printing tasks. While not everyone will work on every type of machine, we provide cross-training to broaden your skills and support a flexible, collaborative work environment.
In this role, you will load garments and substrates, perform basic machine calibrations, and maintain precise quality standards. You’ll also help manage inventory, ensuring we have the right supplies for each printing method and verifying that completed orders meet our strict quality checks before shipment.
Essential Duties:
- Operate Multiple Printing Equipment (as needed):
- DTF & DTG Printers: Load garments, calibrate machines, and oversee print quality.
- Embroidery Machines: Prepare and hoop garments, select appropriate threads, and monitor stitching accuracy.
- UV Printing: Load substrates, confirm machine settings, and ensure high-quality results.
- Production Line Support:
- Receive shipments of printing materials (apparel, inks, threads, substrates).
- Prepare materials for daily production, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Quality Control:
- Check printed or embroidered items for defects, ensuring each order meets our strict standards.
- Conduct final inspections before packing and shipping.
- Inventory & Workflow Management:
- Perform daily cycle counts, scanning, labeling, sorting, and packing to maintain accurate inventory.
- Communicate supply needs to ensure sufficient stock of printing materials and accessories.
- Maintain a Safe & Clean Workspace:
- Follow safety guidelines when operating machinery and handling materials.
- Keep the area organized, particularly when working in varying temperatures or lifting heavy items.
- Cross-Departmental Training:
- Engage in training across different printing methods.
- Be open to assisting in other areas of the warehouse or production as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating power tools and machinery relevant to printing and warehouse tasks.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in an environment with varying temperatures.
- Flexibility and willingness to be cross-trained into other departments.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, print shop, or embroidery setting is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided.
