JOB DESCRIPTION
Supervise Export Coordinators and office staff. Review time. Communicate with USDA inspectors. Communicate with trucking companies and schedule loads. Verify USDA documentation.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of proper documentation for all inbound and outbound product. Includes USDA and country of origin paperwork and Bills of Laden (BOL). Maintain housekeeping and safety in office areas.
- Schedule daily work assignments, provides direction and support to the VRT Export Coordinators to achieve operational and safety goals. Guides training & development activities related to VRT export operations to develop competence and commitment and compliance. Ensure time and payroll accuracy for staff.
- Coordinate daily with Warehouse Manager & Supervisor and USDA to ensure exports are loaded in timely way
- Ensure compliance with USDA export requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of USDA export regulations.
- Extreme attention to detail.
