Mountville has a strategic array of companies consisting of M A Matting (US, Canada, UK, and Belgium), Mountville Rubber, Logo Mats, Bungalow Flooring, Matworks, Purple Mustard, M A Matting Solutions (eCommerce) and Matterly (eCommerce).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Coding and posting cash receipts electronically while identifying trends in payment differences
- Code and process accounts payable for selected companies
- Monitor customer accounts for past-due payments including making business to business collection calls
- Month-end closing responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical accounting, high school diploma and have technology aptitude
- Associate degree in accounting or business, a plus
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and knowledge of accounting software preferred
- Team-player with a strong sense of urgency
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Standard office hours
- Must be able to have a flexible work schedule when workflow requires
- Hybrid work environment with regular work from home hours after initial training (60%Office/40% Home)
- Work in a fast-paced environment
SALARY RANGE: Negotiable - Based on experience
