The Product Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing the product design and sampling process, as well as photography and videography for both Matterly and WaterHog brands. Reporting to the Product Design Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Product Design Assistance & Quality Assurance
- Customizing personalized item orders, creating proofs, and setting up new design files.
- Taking WaterHog mold designs from concept to final stages and uploading them to external vendors or internal teams.
- Creating additional sizes and finalizing print files for new designs.
- Evaluating internal samples, photo samples, and customer samples for design requirements.
- Photography Coordination & File Management
- Coordinating photography and videography shoots, gathering props and products, and ensuring they are in photo-quality condition.
- Managing post-production with photographers and videographers, transferring files, editing, retouching, and color correcting photos and videos.
- Maintaining a digital photo library, organizing assets, and ensuring they are accessible.
- Assisting team members in accessing and utilizing properly-sized photos for marketing materials.
- Staying updated on photography trends and collaborating with the Product Design Manager and marketing team.
- Supporting UGC efforts by working with end users and third-party platforms.
This position requires a self-starter with a passion for visual content. Key qualifications include:
- An associate's degree in graphic design, photography, or visual arts, or four years of experience with graphics.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of photography equipment, lighting techniques, and achieving a desired look.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage time effectively, and travel between locations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for a collaborative team environment.
- A competitive wage in the range of $20-$22 per hour, based on experience.
