What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bellevue Studio Coordinator position at MOVE Inclusive Dance?
Job Purpose
The Bellevue Studio Coordinator oversees the daily operations of MOVE Inclusive Dance’s Bellevue studio while also supporting the organization’s administrative and outreach initiatives. This role includes managing on-site studio operations and handling a variety of administrative duties to support program growth and partnership development. There is also an opportunity to teach community outreach and studio classes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Bellevue Studio Operations
- Act as the main point of contact for the Bellevue studio, addressing immediate needs and supporting students, families, and staff on-site.
- Oversee daily studio operations including ensuring all desk shifts are covered by staff and/or volunteers, cleaning tasks, and maintaining a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Develop and execute strategies for recruitment, retention, and engagement at the Bellevue studio.
Administrative Support
- Assist in planning and overseeing significant events, including fundraisers, recitals, and community outreach initiatives.
Teaching & Outreach (optional)
- Represent MOVE Inclusive Dance in the community to build relationships and grow program awareness.
Work Hours & On-Site Requirements
- This is a hybrid position with both remote and on-site responsibilities. The on-site schedule includes the following requirements:
- Attendance at 100% of Tuesday and Thursday class slots.
- Attendance at 50% of Saturday class slots per month.
- If Monday and Wednesday class slots are added in the future, attendance at 50% of those slots will also be required.
- Specific hours for classes will be communicated in advance, and the schedule may vary based on program needs. Additional remote work hours will be flexible and discussed with your supervisor.
Qualifications
- Comfort and experience working with people with disabilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage both studio operations and administrative responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for fostering an inclusive community.
- Ability to plan and execute events collaboratively and independently.
- Proficiency in administrative software and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Experience in grant research development and/or other nonprofit work is highly desirable.
- A flexible, proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
- Previous teaching experience in dance or similar fields, with a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. (preferred)

Position Level: Coordinator
Benefits: This position includes two weeks of paid time off (PTO) annually and eight weeks of paid maternity leave (if applicable).
Salary : $20,000 - $25,000
