What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset and Operations Coordinator position at MOVE SOLUTIONS?
Asset Management
- Track and control all equipment movements, ensuring accurate records of equipment going in and out.
- Check off every piece of equipment that gets loaded and or returns from a project and account for any assets left onsite.
Crew Return and Load Assessment
- Meet each crew as they return from a job to assess their loads.
- Check in fleet to ensure drivers and crew have properly removed trash and debris from the cab.
- Determine the appropriate process for handling returned equipment, ensuring compliance with our handling policy.
- Require crews to offload and stage items returned from jobs.
- Make sure equipment its being tracked and counts are accurate
- Ensure every WO is properly filled out with correct equipment counts.
- Require an inventory of client-returned products for storage.
Dispatching assistance and duties
- Facilitate the dispatch of crews by providing them with WO documents and necessary resources, ensuring they are fully prepared to depart for the site.
- Process and review WO documentation from the previous day promptly and submit it to the Invoice admin.
- Schedule WOs for the following day and prepare the required equipment and resources, ensuring everything is ready for the next day’s tasks.
Managing Inventories
- Manage inventories of all warehouse and operational perishables and commodities.
- Create lists of items that require restocking, order necessary supplies, and perform purchase orders (POs) to maintain a positive stock level to meet job and client needs (e.g., boxes, packing materials, tape, shrink wrap, monitor bags, keyboard bags, bubble wrap).
- Keep and maintain equipment counts, providing weekly inventory reports to ensure no equipment loss.
Vehicle Fleet Management
- Perform audits of vehicles and assess the maintenance conditions of the entire fleet.
- Coordinate and schedule times and dates for repairs and maintenance with Penske.
- Report all information to the help desk and instruct drivers to report any issues.
Warehouse Receiving and Security
- Ensure all doors remain shut and locked.
- Require every crew member to return to gain access through the side dock operation entrance.
- Monitor cameras for in and out activity.
- Assist the warehouse with paperwork and receiving activities.
Facility Maintenance
- Conduct daily audits to ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained. Develop and implement plans to allocate resources for cleaning specific areas.
- Ensure the entire facility is in proper working order, including ceiling tiles, carpets, paint touch-ups, repairs, parking lot, and loading dock area.
- Perform and schedule routine maintenance checks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system checks.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Schedule
This role requires availability as early as 6am and, on some days, staying as late as 7pm based on the crews schedule. It is essential for the employee to be present during operating hours to check in and out each crew.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
