The Manager of Agent Development is responsible for equipping sales agents with the skills and tools needed for success while actively recruiting top-tier talent. Combining coaching, mentorship, and recruitment expertise, the Agent Development Manager fosters a culture of continuous learning, ensuring new agents are effectively onboarded and existing team members consistently improve performance.
Responsibilities
Recruitment:
- Identify staffing needs, source candidates, and build a talent pipeline.
- Conduct interviews and recommend qualified candidates.
Training and Development:
- Design and deliver virtual and in-person training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, cross-selling strategies, and relationship building with the loan team.
- Keep training materials updated and aligned with company objectives.
Onboarding:
- Lead onboarding for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into company culture and systems.
- Monitor and support new agents’ progress during their onboarding phase.
Performance Coaching:
- Provide one-on-one coaching to address skill gaps, set goals, and improve results.
Sales Strategies:
- Develop sales playbooks, scripts, and tools to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
Collaboration:
- Partner with leadership to identify and prioritize training and recruiting needs.
Tracking and Reporting:
- Measure training effectiveness, track agent performance, and report outcomes to leadership.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Insurance experience
- Experience in professional training and classroom facilitation is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outgoing personality and ability to command / control a classroom of Sales professionals
The expected salary range for this position is between:
$77,000.00 - $100,000.00
The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
