What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Movement Search & Delivery?
We are conducting a confidential search for a Human Resources Manager with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the automotive, commercial vehicle, and agricultural markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based in the metro Toledo area.
This individual will act as the strategic HR Partner with the management team focusing on strategic HR planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training & development.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Monitor employee engagement level, support implementation of action plans to drive engagement and improve culture.
- Conduct and lead the annual Talent Review process and ensure succession pipeline for critical roles.
- According to business needs, manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of high quality, qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations to reduce risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain HR systems, ensure data is kept up to date.
- Recruit high caliber new staff in the department and ensure they are fully trained and integrated.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy and corporate legal advice.
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, payroll, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelors degree preferred
* 2 years experience as a Human Resources Manager
* Supervisory experience
* Previous experience in a plant manufacturing environment
* Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
