As a Service Writer at MowerWorx, you will be the first point of contact for walk-in service customers, ensuring smooth communication regarding the status of work orders. In addition to service writing, you’ll play a key role in equipment and parts sales, providing a well-rounded customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and values building strong customer relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in service customers.
- Open and manage work orders while keeping customers informed of progress.
- Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure customer needs are met.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with equipment and parts sales.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations for products and services.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and sales area.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the outdoor power equipment or related industry.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with dealer management software or similar systems.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in service writing or a similar role.
- Knowledge of outdoor power equipment and small engines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
