What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Account Manager position at Mowi Canada West?
The National Account Manager will be responsible for selling products to the supermarket chains, distributors, and food service multi-unit customers. The National Account Manager will also act as a consultant and partner to the customers, in order to ensure the existing and future contracts for the retail market.

Responsibilities
- Expand current customer relationships, through new product offerings and innovation.
- Create sales presentations.
- Execute sales objectives.
- Manage customer accounts.
- Find and follow new sales leads.
- Arrange business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective customers within assigned responsibility.
- Attend Business Related conferences and shows to represent the company.
- Cultivate positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results.
- Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.
- Research the market and industry trends.
- Establish daily relations with customers, in order to ensure the attention, maintenance and relationships with the customers.
- Introduce and sale new products and new species.
- Maintain the contracts within the established prices, to secure a competitive price per market standards.
- Lead and manage the CSR to ensure quality service to customers.
- Manage customer claims.
- Provide AR with backup for claims, credits and short pays timely.
- Minimize financial impact for Mowi and maintain customer service.
- Ensure accuracy in the resolution of all credits and the timely posting into the customers’ accounts.
Qualifications and Skills

- Experienced at preparing and presenting to customers either in person or virtually.

- Three to five years of proven sales/development experience in a related category or dynamic, growing CP company.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Knowledge: in the US Seafood Industry, Foodservice sales, Category Management, Perishables.
- Ability to maintain customer satisfaction and relations.
- Leadership, Negotiation, Planning, Organizational skills, Communication, Creative Skills, and Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience with Retail Link.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field is preferred.
