Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing warehouse inventory including any local transportation needs and the delivery of products to the end customer.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Communicate expectations and load planning with local drivers and customers.
- Oversee and assist the Inventory Coordinators to ensure successful execution of their responsibilities.
- Communicate expectations regarding receiving and loading with Forklift Drivers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform load planning promptly, including communication with management, drivers, and other contacts as needed.
- Effectively manage customer and vendor accounts including, but not limited to, inventory and shipping needs, onboarding new accounts, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Ensure that manifests and / or the Warehouse Management System accurately reflect the inventory on hand. Communicate any discrepancies with the appropriate team members to resolve.
- Ensure load documentation is accurate including signed paperwork, distribution to drivers, warehouse inventory updates, truck status updates, and file storage.
- Oversee and organize product staging for upcoming loads in an accurate and efficient manner; provide inventory documents to Forklift Drivers.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management regarding successes, issues, and other relevant information.
- Label and scan product as needed to assist Inventory Coordinators and / or Forklift Drivers. Complete inventory counts as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing throughout the warehouse and in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to properly lift up to 30 pounds at times
