Position Overview:
As the Landscape Manager at MOXIE Landscaping, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining strong client relationships, and leading a team of landscaping professionals. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of landscapers and crew members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure project completion to company standards.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of landscaping projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.
- Manage equipment and materials to ensure proper maintenance, usage, and inventory control.
- Monitor landscaping trends and ensure the incorporation of new ideas, designs, and techniques.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and manage budgets for landscaping projects and services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5 years) in landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of landscape design, plant materials, horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the use of landscaping tools, equipment, and technology (e.g., project management software, scheduling tools).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of safety practices, environmental regulations, and sustainability in landscaping.
- Certification in landscape management or related field is a plus.
