Job Summary - 5am Start Time
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including mowing, tree trimming, and groundskeeping. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
(Non-driver position pays $2 less per hour)
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging lawns, tree pruning, and mulch application.
- Use hand tools and equipment effectively for various landscaping duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment during and after use.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and other landscape features as required.
- Provide support in the installation of new landscape designs, including planting flowers and laying sod.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with snow removal during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Must have smart phone with the ability to take pictures of completed service and clock in/out for timekeeping.
- Driving positions must have a valid driver's license with a clean DMV record and the ability to safely load, unload, and maneuver a landscape trailer.
- Government-contract positions must pass a comprehensive background review.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is required.
- Knowledge related to landscaping equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions is essential.
- A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to landscaping tasks is highly valued.
