Mozaic is seeking a full-time Training Specialist to assist with the staff development efforts for the agency and to support a strong learning culture across the agency. This dynamic role is responsible for coordinating and delivering trainings that support employee growth and professional development. You'll engage new hires during orientation, facilitate a variety of training formats-classroom, online, and experiential-and help maintain high-quality instructional materials.
The Training Specialist works closely with the Staff Development and Compliance Coordinator to schedule and implement training initiatives, manage training records, and oversee the Relias training database. You'll be the go-to resource for Relias support, including assigning trainings, tracking progress, and creating user accounts. This role also supports agency certification reviews, stays up to date on industry best practices, and ensures all training meets regulatory standards. Occasional evening or weekend hours and travel to on-site locations may be required.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM
35 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Location: 1083 Waterloo-Geneva Road
Training Specialist Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Must have at least 5 years of experience either providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities or working as a trainer.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience providing training. Experience with OPWDD services is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Valid NYS Driver's License (must be acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion (including medical, financial, and personal details). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
