What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power Tester position at MP Engineering?
Summary
As a Power Tester, you will be integral to ensuring the quality and performance of software systems through rigorous testing methodologies. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, your role involves executing various testing types, including performance, functional, and system testing, to identify and resolve issues. Your core skills in software quality assurance and troubleshooting will be essential, while your premium skills in tools like TestNG and Selenium will enhance testing efficiency. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will contribute to the overall success of our software development lifecycle in a collaborative environment.
- Perform testing on Power Transformers and transformer components on voltages and currents using test equipment
- Develop data for test sheets and perform test calculations and analyze test data and test failures
- Calibrate and repair test equipment and assist new testers as needed
- Minor repair to test equipment and customer interaction required
- Quality Control check during final stages and keep work area safe, neat and clean
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have additional schooling in electrical applications
- Must be able to perform work at heights occasionally
- Must be able to pass physical work requirements
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when warranted

Pay: $23.00 per hour
