WHO YOU ARE :
An organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional, that will play an essential role in keeping the operations running smoothly while contributing to our client's culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
As an Accounts Payable Manager & Payroll Processor, you'll take ownership of two critical functions within the company. You'll manage all accounts payable processes and ensure that payroll is processed accurately and on time, all while working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Oversee and process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Reconcile accounts payable records and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Manage payment runs, including manual checks and electronic payments.
- Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payments.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate and manage benefits administration (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve issues promptly.
- Help facilitate timely filing of payroll taxes and other required filings.
- Keep accurate records of payroll transactions, including deductions, reimbursements, and bonuses.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and entries for all payroll transactions and accruals.
- Assist HR with new employee onboarding and registration.
