Job Description:
We are seeking a Sous Chef for our restaurant, Polp, to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. As the Sous Chef, you will supervise, train, and inspect the performance of assigned Kitchen Staff, ensuring that all procedures are completed to hotel standards, while working within the budgeted guidelines and Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Graduate, some college.
- Ability to communicate in English to the understanding of employees and guests.
- Knowledge of proper food safety handling.
- Ability to provide legible communication.
- Ability to do basic arithmetic.
- Previous Management Experience with a high end 5 star / 5 diamond restaurant.
- Culinary School or comparable degree
- Food Handler Certification
