Job Description:
Join our team as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Analyst, where you will play an essential role in the organization’s efforts to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. You will be responsible for executing and improving safety programs, delivering training, and supporting ongoing safety compliance efforts across all operational areas.
Key Duties:
- Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs such as respiratory protection and hazardous materials communication.
- Train employees on critical safety topics and ensure understanding and compliance with safety regulations.
- Review and update safety policies and procedures as needed to remain in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Assist with incident investigations and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with safety committees and cross-functional teams to enhance workplace safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in environmental science, Chemical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Experience: EHS-related role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and leadership.
