Job Summary
We are hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and support maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce safety policies and housekeeping standards
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and lead root cause analysis
- Supervise maintenance and construction projects
- Support Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost goals
- Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance team members
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production and quality
- Maintain schedules, ensure quality and compliance with labor agreements
- Utilize maintenance management systems for planning and reporting
- Provide hands-on support for robotic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Adapt role responsibilities based on team strengths and candidate background
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred Education: Associate degree in Engineering or technical field
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of automotive or metal manufacturing experience
- 10 years of total maintenance-related experience preferred
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
- Experience supervising multi-trade maintenance teams
- Familiarity with industrial equipment such as presses, dies, and robots (Fanuc preferred)
- Knowledge of safety procedures in industrial environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using maintenance systems (Maximo preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualities
- Background in tool & die or stamping operations
- Previous experience in noisy and oily environments
- Familiarity with automation, suction cups, vacuum generators, and robotic loading/unloading
- Ability to work independently and lead by example
- Bold personality with a process-driven mindset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $41.00 per hour
