Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist
The Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist (ARCS) ensures customers pay for products or services within the agreed upon terms by consistent followup with them and resolving billing issues. The ARCS also monitors accounts to identify overdue debts and billing process issues.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages and collects outstanding accounts receivable
- Provides reports on delinquent accounts and collection activity to management
- Researches and resolves payment discrepancies
- Investigates and resolves customer queries
- Helps maintain and reconcile accounts receivable agings
- Assists in accounts receivable management including:
- The invoicing process
- Issuing invoices/credits to customers
- Tracking payments
- Customer database maintenance
- Processing credit card payments
- Recording cash receipts
- Other duties as needed
