The Software Developer Engineer in Test (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC in New York, NY will develop, enhance, and maintain the internal suite of algorithmic trading systems. Conduct software testing in the full lifecycle of algorithmic trading systems. Develop a fully automated test platform to ensure high quality software products and improve the team’s time to market. Engage in gathering business and software requirements to provide feedback with a focus on testability, recoverability, and supportability. Write and review automated component and integration test cases. Develop and maintain the software testing platform for Algorithm Trading systems. Build and maintain automated pipelines for various testing phases including integration tests, performance tests, and end-to-end tests in on-premise and cloud environments. Collaborate with various teams to understand infrastructure and inter application dependencies to automate deployments. Design and develop software testing strategies and provide cross functional coordination and collaboration while establishing and promoting industry-leading test practices.Salary : $175,000 to $250,000 per year.Minimum Requirements : Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, plus 2 years in a professional software engineer, or related, occupation. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, plus 5 years in a professional software engineer, or related occupation.
