Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in Salesforce, Agile Project Management, and overall Project Management. This role requires overseeing Salesforce projects, ensuring smooth execution, and aligning initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex Salesforce implementations and leading Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program & Project Management:
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce program execution from planning to deployment.
- Drive timelines and aim for on-time delivery with successful completion of all in scope project work
- Effectively manage scope creep
- Own / host kickoff meetings, recurring touch points during the project, etc.
- Set meeting agenda and provide appropriate follow-up communications
- Manage multiple, complex Salesforce initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
- Define and track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to align project goals with business objectives.
2. Agile & Scrum Execution:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, etc.).
- Ensure Agile best practices are followed and help teams achieve continuous improvement.
3. Stakeholder & Communication Management:
- Be initial point of project escalation and understanding when to escalate up as needed
- Act as the primary point of contact between business units, IT teams, and vendors.
- Communicate project status updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies to avoid roadblocks in project execution.
4. Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Work closely with third-party vendors, consultants, and offshore teams as needed.
5. Salesforce Implementation & Governance:
- Oversee Salesforce solution design, integration, and deployment.
- Ensure projects align with Salesforce best practices, security, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Developers to manage technical roadmaps and enhancements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Salesforce Expertise:
- 5 years of experience managing Salesforce implementations (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, data model, workflows, and automation.
Project Management Experience:
- 8 to 10 years of Project & Program Management experience.
- Expertise in managing enterprise-scale software development projects
- Familiarity with project management tools
Agile & Scrum:
- 8 years of Agile Project Management experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership & Communication:
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent work ethic with willingness to learn from team members
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to all stakeholders
Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Certifications (Salesforce Admin, PMP, or Agile-related certs preferred).
