Overview: MPower Advance Therapy Solutions is a new and growing medical facility dedicated to providing patient-centered care with a friendly and professional staff. We are seeking an Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our practice, ensuring smooth workflow, excellent patient experiences, and efficient administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure compliance with Company and regulatory policies and practices through appropriate communication.
- Supervise and work harmoniously with other personnel, fostering a cheerful and enthusiastic workplace.
- Handle patient account inquiries and ensure positive communication of information to/from the office.
- Oversee OSHA and HIPAA requirements, maintaining adherence to company safety standards.
- Ensure efficient office function through proper employee scheduling, including approving/denying PTO requests and verifying time sheets.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, counseling, and termination of front office/clinical staff.
- Conduct annual evaluations on front office/clinical personnel.
- Maintain and coordinate physician scheduling to ensure smooth patient flow and staff coordination.
- Attend work in accordance with the attendance management policy and complete required education timely.
- Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting for the practice.
- Anticipate patient needs, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment, and handle patient inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Corporate Operations Team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of professional administrative/clinical experience in a medical environment, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven track record of strong medical skills/experience and professional knowledge of medical office practices.
- Supervisory experience with strong employee and patient relations skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Business-level competency with basic accounting skills and the ability to quickly master Company proprietary software.
- Current Texas driver’s license and the ability to travel between clinics as needed.
