Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Environmental Services Intern to assist our team in enhancing waste management and environmental processes across the Dearborn Truck Plant. This internship offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals, engaging in meaningful projects that impact sustainability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Total Waste Manager with day-to-day responsibilities.
• Attend and participate in meetings with various stakeholders.
• Communicate with plant personnel and contractors to improve operational processes.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians to implement sustainable solutions.
• Help address open item issues across the plant and present creative solutions.
• Engage in educational opportunities to deepen your understanding of waste and environmental regulations.
  
  

Skills & Minimum Requirements

• A background in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Passion for waste management and environmental sustainability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, etc.).
