Booth Cleaner

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking multiple Booth Cleaners to join our team at the Ford KTP SD facility located in Louisville, KY. These individuals will be responsible for janitorial activities, lifting, water blasting, preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment, inspection of waste storage areas and documentation as required. Scheduling subject to union seniority.

Typical Shift Hours: Monday - Sunday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities And Job Duties

• Using solvents, high pressure water blasters up to 40,000 psi and manual scraping/chipping to clean walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights, robots, etc.
• Grease rails and perform other minor maintenance.
• Vacuum and wipe interior and exterior of equipment.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Perform other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
• Lock out/tag out of equipment for safe entry into energized areas of the paint shop.
• Confined space entry procedures for safe entry into confined space areas needing to be cleaned.
• General janitorial functions such as office and restroom cleaning.
  
  

Requirements And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and reach within 6” to the ground.
• Able to climb ladders and stairs without difficulty.
• Ability to lift, carry and pulling equipment of various size, shape, and weight.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.
