We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of financial transactions, timely payments, and accurate record-keeping within our organization. The AR / AP Specialist reports directly to the Accounting Manager and works closely with cross-functional teams to support the company’s financial operations.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong knowledge of AR/AP processes, ERP/MRP accounting systems in a manufacturing environment, and excellent organizational skills.

Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate and issue invoices to customers.
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Process incoming payments and apply them accurately to accounts.
- Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Review and process vendor invoices.
- Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Maintain accurate records of AP transactions.
- Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- General Accounting Duties:
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger related to AR/AP.
- Gather and report state sales tax data and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes.
Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist Requirements:
- Previous experience in AR/AP roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP/MRP systems).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Good communication skills

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
