Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Inspector to join our team. Member will be diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, performing routine maintenance tasks like oil changes and tire rotations, repairing or replacing worn parts (brakes, sensors, etc.), inspecting vehicles for safety concerns, utilizing diagnostic tools to identify issues, providing accurate repair estimates to customers, and ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing problems: Using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify issues with a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems
- Performing repairs: Replacing or repairing parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and timing belts
- Maintaining vehicles: Performing routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality control measures taken.
- Maintaining tools and equipment: Keeping garage tools and equipment in good condition
- Communicating with clients: Explaining automotive problems and repairs to clients, and advising them on how to use their vehicle
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity inspection systems, (will be trained if not).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with team members.
