Job Summary

The Mitigation Project Manager/Crew lead is responsible for managing and overseeing teams that handle water damage, fire damage, and other mitigation tasks. They are responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial assessment to completion, ensuring quality work, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Essential Duties & Other Responsibilities

· Oversee Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day field activities to ensure projects meet timelines.

· Site Inspections: Conduct initial and final site visits to assess project progress, quality, and compliance with specifications.

· Reporting: Communicate project status, challenges, and progress to upper management through regular reports and meetings.

· Issue Resolution: Identify and address conflicts or problems that arise during the course of the project.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all project activities, including timelines, resources, and milestones.

Skills & Requirements

· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.

· Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Xactimate (preferred), CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, Symbility (preferred) and mobile technology (smartphone, tablet, etc.).

· Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges effectively.

· Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

· Safety and Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with industry safety regulations and compliance standards.

· Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

· Organization and Detail Orientation: Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

· Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and priorities. Ability to work overtime as needed and be on a rotational on-call basis

· Transportation and Travel: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel as needed.

· Quick Learner: Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly; proactive and self-motivated.

· Language Skills: Proficient in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus but not required.

· Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.

Education, Training, & Experience

· Experience in the mitigation industry

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related position

· High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands

· Physically fit and able to work in varying conditions

· May occasionally lift 100 lbs.
