Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Commission-Only Electrical and Solar Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will identify and engage potential customers, educate them about our solar and electrical solutions, and close sales. You’ll have the flexibility to work independently while earning uncapped commissions based on your performance.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads through networking, cold-calling, canvassing, referrals, and social media outreach.
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy and electrical solutions, including cost savings, environmental impact, and available incentives.
- Conduct site assessments and work with the engineering team to develop tailored proposals.
- Present proposals and close sales with homeowners, businesses, and industrial clients.
- Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and referral opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new products, and local/regional incentives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar, electrical, or related industries (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, relatable terms.
- Access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel (if applicable).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or certifications in solar/electrical fields are a plus.
