Job Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the Mr Gatti's Pizza restaurant. This includes leading and developing the team, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing finances, and maintaining high standards of food quality and restaurant cleanliness. The GM will be a hands-on leader, actively involved in all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address performance issues.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a focus on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve satisfaction.
- Financial Management:
- Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, sales, and cost control.
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Control inventory and minimize waste.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and reporting.
- Operational Excellence:
- Maintain high standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation.
