Mr. Handyman of Kanawha Valley is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our office team in Charleston. This position is responsible for full-charge bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and will play a key role in keeping our financial operations accurate and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-charge bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Match and reconcile purchase orders with invoices and payments
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Enter payroll data and coordinate with payroll provider
- Maintain organized digital and paper records
- Communicate regularly with ownership and management on financial matters
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
- Experience with purchase order reconciliation and vendor management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time independently and work on-site
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
