These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position:
The pay range for this position is project commission per job and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing and drywall.
After 60 days you are eligible for our benefits package which includes, medical, vision, dental and AFLAC benefits. After one year you are eligible for our 401k plan which contains a matching benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Perform Residential and Commercial Repairs: Complete a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for homes and commercial properties. Projects may range in duration from a couple of hours to two days and include both interior and exterior work.
- Provide Expert Recommendations and Set Clear Expectations: Communicate effectively with clients to assess their needs, recommend solutions, and set realistic expectations about project scope and costs.
- Leverage Modern Tools and Technology: Utilize the latest technology to build estimates and manage jobs and client communications efficiently.
- Build Long-Term Customer Relationships: Deliver outstanding service that creates loyal, repeat clients. Follow the proven Mr. Handyman Experience, a structured approach designed to consistently exceed client expectations.
These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position:
- Live within the service area (DuPage County)
- Have 15 year's experience as a professional handyman
- Light Plumbing
- Light Electric
- Carpentry
- Door/Window Repair
- Gutters/Fascia Repair
- Deck/Fence Repair
- Remodel Experience
- Own your own tools
- Be insurable for driving our vehicle
- Complete a background and driving record check
- Able to lift 50 pounds independently
- Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time
- Professional appears and demeanor and maintenance of company-provided vehicle
