- Compensation: $18-$22/hour based on experience
Qualifications:
- Generator installation, HVAC, Plumbing and/or electrical experience preferred
- Generac Service certification preferred and experience with installing generators
- Electrician License highly preferred but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have mechanical skill set and ability to troubleshoot systems
- High integrity with the strong desire to be better tomorrow than you are today.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
Primary Job Functions:
- Design and install gas piping systems for residential applications
- Knowledge of gas pressures, BTU’s and sizing the system
- Work closely with utility companies, to include submitting paperwork if systems require utility upgrades
- Install and complete generator start-ups, ensure correct location, proper ventilation, gas line sizing requirements, and that generator is left clean and in correct mode
- Perform scheduled inspections on equipment to prevent future failure, including but not limited to load banking and analyzing voltage requirements.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on equipment according to standard procedures in an efficient manner.
- Check warranty issues on generator units, thoroughly clean units, and leave them in the correct mode.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations as it pertains to general electrical in-home service calls.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck,
- Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
- Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
