Mr. Rogers Windows is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team.
This is a key support role where you’ll help ensure all materials for window and door installations are prepared and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project contracts and organize materials
- Put together kits and stage all supplies 10 business days before scheduled jobs
- Load/unload trucks and deliver materials to job sites as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct weekly counts
- Operate forklifts and other equipment (must be certified)
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant
- Prepare for weekly deliveries and manage offsite warehouse materials
- Perform daily property inspections and weekly vehicle checks
- Support the Warehouse Manager and assist with special projects
- Use of our computer system
- Drive multiple types of vehicles such as a van, pickup, box truck, and scissor lift.
Qualifications:
- Able to work 7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
- 2 years warehouse experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Forklift and scissor lift experience (Certification referred)
- Ability to drive company van, pick up and box truck. (CDL not required)
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Must be physically fit: able to lift 50 lbs regularly and occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures, including very warm or cold outdoor conditions.
