We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Roofing and Wall Panel Estimator/Project Manager to join our team in Jonesboro, AR. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in estimating and managing commercial metal roofing and wall panel projects. Responsibilities:
- Estimate commercial metal roofing and wall panel projects from architectural drawings and field data
- Perform accurate project take-offs and develop complete bid proposals
- Review and interpret architectural and construction documents
- Analyze project specifications and prepare bid requests accordingly
- Review and submit shop drawings and submittals
- Order project materials and schedule job installations
- Direct field crews and clearly communicate scope and expectations
- Track and manage project changes, requests, and customer requirements
- Read and understand complex contracts to ensure compliance with bid requirements
- Maintain organized project documentation and communications with stakeholders
- Conduct on-site roof inspections and take-offs as needed
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial metal roofing/wall panel estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of metal roofing systems, retro-fit metal roofing, and various types of wall panels
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specs, and contracts
- Proficiency in The EDGE Estimating software and Bluebeam (preferred)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to climb ladders and perform roof inspections
