Position Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent with hands-on experience in steel erection and pipe installation to oversee an active industrial project in Yuma, AZ with a high-impact leadership opportunity, ideal for a seasoned superintendent who thrives in fast-paced field environments. Ideally, this would be someone who wants to join the team permanently but work on this project in Yuma. Per Diem will be provided if residing outside of Yuma.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day construction operations on-site, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise steel erection and piping installation activities.
- Lead and manage subcontractors and field crews, ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.
- Review construction drawings and plans; troubleshoot field issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all site safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to meet project milestones.
- Maintain detailed daily logs and reports of project progress.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in industrial or commercial projects.
- Strong expertise in steel erection and pipe systems (mechanical piping, process piping, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and piping schematics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work on-site in Yuma, AZ for the duration of the project.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
