Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; 3-5 years of experience in Public Accounting. Experience in the Architecture & Engineering industry preferred but not required.

Proficiency in ERP Systems with ability to develop reports as needed, Unanet A/E or Deltek experience preferred, Microsoft Excel skills required. Efficiency and streamlining mindset, ability to question status quo and support new approaches. Strong teamwork/collaboration skills. Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills are valuable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000
As of this posting, the estimated annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 – $125,000. Actual base salary will be based upon criteria such as experience, qualifications and skill level. We are an EEO Employer.*

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Financial reporting
- Support monthly close process including review of balance sheets and P&L for several entities
- Maintain balance sheet roll-forward schedules, posting of monthly entries
- Budgeting – support CFO with creation and maintenance of annual budget
- Accounts Payable
- Oversee A/P processes for capturing and paying vendors/sub-contractors, will have assistance with invoice entry from other teammates. Work with CFO to get weekly payments processed by both check and ACH
- Review/enhance internal policies for vendor approval, 1099 reporting
- Evaluate A/P Automation solutions
- Oversee corporate credit card processes, including reconciliation of control accounts to statements, and reminding card holders of missing submissions, managing requests for additional credit & virtual cards
- Accounts Receivable
- Support CFO with Aging analysis and collection efforts
- Review/enhance our current client billing process, supporting 3 staff that prepare and send invoices
- Provide back up for cash receipts process
- Payroll – coordinate bi-weekly payroll entries with HR
- Cash Management
- Maintain check registers
- Reconcile bank accounts in ERP system
- Communicate daily EFT deposits to AR team for posting into system
- Team Leadership
- Assist CFO with management of accounting team, comprised of 3 staff level employees, one in TX, two in NY.
- Support CFO with department goal setting
- Systems / Process Improvement
- Supports finance team with various project related analyses and clean-up efforts in Unanet A/E, MRB’s ERP system
- Assists with the creating/implementation of new policies/procedures as needed.
- Creation/maintenance of various dashboards and automated reports
- Support year-end closing procedures and coordination with annual financial statement reviews and tax preparation.
- Supports finance team with M&A/Due Diligence projects, as needed.
