What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio & Project Manager position at MRC Brand Design Studio?
We’re MRC, a brand design studio specializing in branding, illustration and website design. We’re looking for a Studio & Project Manager to help keep our projects (and our team) running smoothly. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to grow into full-time as our studio expands.
At MRC, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do—it’s not just a process; it’s the soul of our work. We believe that the best ideas come from open dialogue, shared creativity, and strong partnerships, both within our team and with our clients. We’re a small but mighty studio that values strategic design, clear communication, and seamless teamwork. If you thrive in a creative, collaborative environment where no two days are the same, you’ll fit right in.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll play a key role in keeping our studio organized and our projects on track. Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing project timelines, deliverables, and client communication.
- Supporting client relationships to ensure they feel informed and taken care of.
- Handling scheduling and administrative duties for the Founder/Creative Director to keep things running smoothly.
- Keeping internal processes streamlined—managing meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining organized files.
- Assisting with general studio operations, making sure our team has what they need to do their best work.
- Using Teamwork to track tasks and manage projects, and Figma to collaborate on project proposals and provide feedback.
- Someone detail-oriented, proactive, and organized—you love a good to-do list.
- A natural communicator who’s comfortable managing schedules, juggling projects, and keeping things moving.
- Experience in project management, account management, or studio operations (bonus points if it’s in branding, design, or creative fields).
- Familiarity with Teamwork and Figma (or similar project management and design collaboration tools) is a big plus.
- A team player who thrives in a small, creative studio environment where collaboration drives everything.
- We’d love someone who could join our hybrid team at least one day a week in our downtown Raleigh office studio.
- Spanish bilingual is a huge plus!
- Part-time (flexible hours, approx. 15-20 per week to start)
- Hybrid role—must be available to work in our Downtown Raleigh studio at least once a week
- Opportunity to transition to full-time as we grow.
Salary : $1,600 - $2,000
