PAYROLL AND BENEFITS COORDINATOR POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator works closely with the Payroll and Benefits Manager to administer activities relating to MRD Apartments compensation and benefits.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer payroll accurately for all team members.
- Enter tax and direct deposit information.
- Process on-boarding for all new hires.
- Enter personnel changes, complete employment verifications, maintain employee files.
- Process and review background checks.
- Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with requirements.
- Assist with planning and administering open enrollment.
- Process, all leave of absence, reasonable accommodations, and disability paperwork including medical, personal, and Federal and State mandated leaves.
- Manage unemployment claims.
- Data entry

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Datar Entry
- Payroll processing and related experience required.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Able to pass pre-employment screening.
WORK HOURS: Full-time work hours.
