An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Licensed Audiologist to join our team and conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to perform medical evaluations as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The successful candidate will work with Veteran files, reviewing medical records in a computer portal and conducting essential tests, including the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
A key aspect of this role is completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal, which forms the medical evidence required for the VA to determine Veteran benefits.
This position requires strong clinical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to review and assess multiple Veterans per day. We offer a flexible schedule, with part-time hours of 2 days per week.
Schedule and Environment
This is an IN-PERSON role that offers dedicated time for each patient, with no evenings, on-call duties, or weekends. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of United States Veterans.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an ASHA Accredited school.
- A current license as an Audiologist.
- Credentialing requirements must be met as set forth by the VA.
