MRG Exams is a trusted provider of Independent Medical Exams, seeking a skilled Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
About the Role
The successful candidate will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person for each Veteran. They will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
This role involves performing Disability Assessments on Veterans only, with an average caseload of 4 assessments per day. The Licensed Psychologist will NOT make disability determinations, as the Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our team. If you have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school, an active and unrestricted Psychology license, and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA, we encourage you to apply.
