Description
We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person with each veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal.
The licensed psychologist does not make disability determinations; rather, the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This position is dedicated to performing disability assessments on veterans only. You will not treat patients or prescribe medication in this role.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school
- Active and unrestricted psychology license
- Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
