Description
MRG Exams is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
As an Independent Medical Examiner, you will conduct comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran, reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability determinations; instead, they provide critical information that contributes to the U.S. Veterans Administration's decision-making process.
This role ONLY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans, with no treatment or medication prescription responsibilities.
On average, the Licensed Psychologist will review and assess 4 Veterans per day, working as an Independent Contractor with MRG Exams.
Schedule: Part-Time (Wednesday-Friday)
This is an IN-PERSON position.
Requirements
MRG Exams is looking for a Licensed Psychologist who:
Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D degree from an APA Accredited program/school,
Holds an active & unrestricted Psychology license,
Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA,
