Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Veteran Disability Assessments
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
- Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
- Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.
Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.
Schedule: Part-Time, 2 days per week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Caseload: 4 Veterans per day on average.
- Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.
We are looking for a compassionate Psychologist dedicated to supporting the Veteran community.
Requirements:
- Graduated from an APA Accredited program/school.
- Holds an active & unrestricted Psychology license.
- Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data.
- Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals.
- A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans.
