Clinical Psychologist - Veteran Disability Assessments
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
- Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
- Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position, working 2-3 days per week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) with an average caseload of 4 Veterans per day. All necessary equipment and tools for documentation will be provided.
Requirements:
- A doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data.
- Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals.
- A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans.
