About the Role
As a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist, you will conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.
This is a non-treating, non-determination role focused solely on assessments. You will be responsible for reviewing Veterans' medical records through a secure web portal, performing thorough eye exams including Visual Field Testing (VFT), and completing and submitting evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of the exam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Veterans' medical records to ensure accurate assessment.
- Perform comprehensive eye exams, including VFT, to assess visual field capabilities.
