Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Examiner to perform comprehensive medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of our disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review medical records electronically and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document the exam findings electronically through our web portal.
As a Medical Examiner, you will NOT make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration is responsible for all disability determinations. This position ONLY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans, does not involve treating or prescribing medication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Proficiently use a computer.
