Job Summary
This part-time position involves performing medical assessments on Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document exam findings using the web portal.
Responsibilities
- Perform medical assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, on average.
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
