Job Description
This position involves performing disability assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The selected candidate will review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran.
Electronic documentation of exam findings is required using the web portal.
This role does not make disability determinations; instead, the United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
The primary responsibilities include performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, with a set schedule during normal business hours and no on-call requirements.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
