We are seeking a dedicated and board-certified MD or DO in Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehab, or Orthopedics to join our team as an Independent Medical Evaluator. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and evaluate permanent partial impairment.
- Provide objective opinions in a narrative report to support claims adjudication and case management processes.
Experience or willingness to learn is essential. Travel within Ohio is available, and candidates already on the BWC's Disability Evaluators Panel are highly desirable.
Requirements
- Licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD) or active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
The salary range for this position is approximately $150,000 to $200,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
